Fresh Guacamole with Cilantro & Lime
Growing up, my mom always insisted that we make our food. Buying prepared food was a no-go. Once I finally geared up my taste buds to tolerate cilantro, I haven’t been able to stop making fresh Guacamole. This recipe is super simple. Feel free to eliminate the cilantro for all you flavor-haters out there (just kidding). Really you can put whatever you like in it. Some people love fresh tomatoes and red onion in their Guac. I like to stick with the basics.
Ingredients:
Guacamole:
2 Ripe Avocados
2 Limes (3 if it gets a little thick)
Handful of Fresh Cilantro
1/4 tsp Cracked Pepper
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Simply halve the avocados and remove the pits. Spoon out the insides into a large bowl. Add in the juice of 2-3 limes. Chop the cilantro (I like a rough chop instead of minced up super fine) and add into the bowl. You can really add as much Salt & Pepper as you like. Serve with corn chips and enjoy!
